Nazareth is located in lower Galilee of northern Israel.
Nazareth is the city Jesus grew up in as a boy, and where He practiced his trade of carpenter as a young adult.
Here,  in its synagogue,  he preached the sermon that led to his rejection by His fellow townspeople.
